Effective Friday, September 1, 2006, CME® will list two additional live cattle futures months for trading.  Specifically, when the August 2006 contract expires on August 31, 2006, in addition to listing the October 2007 (normal 7th listing) contract, CME will list the December 2007 (new 8th listing) and February 2008 (new 9th listing) contracts.  This will bring the number of listed contracts from seven to nine “even” months (February, April, June, August, October and December).

This change applies to both Trading Floor (“LC”) and CME® Globex® (“LE”) contract listings.
